M333 - Art Experience for Elementary Teachers
With this course we invite you to explore the above and other significant questions about visual forms of education in elementary generalist classrooms. We emphasize at the outset that, while this course involves the use of visual strategies and techniques, it is not a course geared primarily to helping you develop your own personal artistic skills or to providing space for your own personal artistic expression. Rather, this course offers an opportunity to develop the skills you will need to become an imaginative educator who uses visual materials and strategies to enliven and deepen children’s learning.
